Sherwood Police Department makes crash reports available online.

The Sherwood Police Department is digitizing its crash reports through a partnership with the Carfax Police Crash Assistiance Program.  The reports are stored electronically in a secure database and available for purchase online at www.crashdocs.org/ar-sherwoodpd.

Citizens Police Academy.

The Sherwood Police Department will be conducting a Citizens' Police Academy beginning May 5, 2015.

This will be a four-week academy designed to inform citizens on different aspects of law enforcement including Community Policing, Patrol Duties, Criminal Investigations, Traffic Enforcement, Tactical Training, Court Procedures, and Firearms Safety. The course will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The course is free, and we encourage all who want to gain an active knowledge of their police department to attend. Attendance will be limited to Sherwood property owners and business owners, at least 21 years old, without a criminal record.
