IMPORTANT UPDATE -BULK TRASH AND JUNK REMOVAL
Curbside bulk trash and junk removal will resume on Monday, July 17. Thank you to everyone that refrained from placing bulk trash such as furniture, rugs, appliances, boxes, or anything not classified as GREEN WASTE in the right of way so the sanitation crews could focus on green waste from the June 25 storms.
Please note that if green waste begins to pile up again, the city might temporarily suspend junk pick-up again in order to catch up with green waste. At this time, we are uncertain if residents have an abundance of green waste in their backyards that has not been brought to the curb. We appreciate everyone's patience on this matter.
Please remember the basic guidelines when placing green waste in the right of way:
• Limbs must be no longer than 8 feet long or 8 inches in diameter to be picked up.
• No stumps or logs.
• No remodeling materials.
• Large tree removal done by a tree service must be hauled away by the tree service. This includes limbs, trunks, logs, or stumps.
