STREETS PROJECT UPDATE 3/23/2023

COUNTRY CLUB

Construction on Country Club Road is going to be VERY busy today. Crews are MILLING the intersections in preparation for the final layer of asphalt. Please be advised that milling machines, and dump trucks will be spending about thirty (30) minutes at each intersection. This work will run the entire length of the project from Beaconsfield to North Hills. Intersections include: Beaconsfield, Longfield, Claremont, Verona, Verona Cir, Devon, Beverly, Fairway, Glenora, Delmont, Sherwood, Oakhill and Fred Rains.  While Country Club will be open to residents all others are encouraged to use ALTERNATE ROUTES.

 MARYLAND AVENUE

Crews are applying binder (asphalt) to the roadway between Peach Tree and Brundle Court. Yesterday the crews completed two and three quarters (2-3/4) of the area. The goal is to complete the remaining section TODAY. Weather permitting, Friday the contractor will be applying the “intermediate’ layer. The plan to apply the finish layer, stripping and signage is scheduled in the coming weeks.  Again, the road is open to residents, all others please use ALTERNATE ROUTES.
