Hemphill Road Redevelopment Project Information
The project consists of the redevelopment of the Hemphill Road Corridor located in Pulaski County, which consists of the full-depth reconstruction of the Hemphill Road corridor, the extension of Hemphill Road to East Maryland Ave., and the construction of a roundabout at the proposed intersection of East Maryland Avenue and Hemphill Road. The drainage within the right of way will be upgraded to accommodate the stormwater runoff and the wider thoroughfare. Drainage improvements will include, but not be limited to, installation of a precast concrete arch bridge, replacement of roadside ditches with underground improved drainage, and removal or replacement of driveway culverts within the project area.
