From a News Release from Waste Management:
WM (Waste Management) Monitoring Inclement Weather
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 2, 2022) – WM (Waste Management) is monitoring the pending winter weather event currently forecasted to affect central Arkansas. Icy weather creates an incredibly dangerous situation for motorists, especially solid waste and recycling trucks. Waste Management will determine by 6:00 a.m. each morning throughout the event if our trucks will be able to run the daily routes for solid waste and recycling.
WM is the residential solid waste and recycling partner for the unincorporated areas of Pulaski County. Additionally, WM services the residential, curbside recycling programs for the cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood. If WM deems it unsafe to operate on a day, dates will run one day late.
Further information will be available to the local government officials and media by 6 a.m. on Thursday, February 3. Little Rock residents with questions need to call 3-1-1. Pulaski County, North Little Rock and Sherwood residents may call 1-800-607-9509.
