[ARCHIVED] WM (Waste Management) Monitoring Inclement Weather

From a News Release from Waste Management:

WM (Waste Management) Monitoring Inclement Weather

WM to delay Thursday pickups

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 2, 2022) – WM (Waste Management) is monitoring the pending winter weather event currently forecasted to affect central Arkansas. Icy weather creates an incredibly dangerous situation for motorists, especially solid waste and recycling trucks.

WM is the residential solid waste and recycling partner for the unincorporated areas of Pulaski County. Additionally, WM services the residential, curbside recycling programs for the cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood. If WM deems it unsafe to operate, routes will run with a one-day delay. WM also provides residential solid waste services to the residents of Pine Bluff.

Services in Pulaski County, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood and Pine Bluff will be suspended Thursday. If routes are safe to run Friday, Thursday pickups will be Friday; Friday pickups will be Saturday. This is subject to change as more is known about the effects of the wintry weather.

Little Rock residents with questions need to call 3-1-1. Pulaski County, North Little Rock, Sherwood, and Pine Bluff residents may call 1-800-607-9509.
