WM (Waste Management) Announces Adjusted Service Schedule
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 4, 2022) – WM (Waste Management) has adjusted its service schedule for many of its central Arkansas customers. Icy conditions create an incredibly dangerous situation for motorists, especially solid waste and recycling trucks.
WM is the residential solid waste and recycling partner for the unincorporated areas of Pulaski County. Additionally, WM services the residential, curbside recycling programs for the cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood. WM also provides residential solid waste services to the residents of Pine Bluff, Morrilton and Russellville.
Services in Pulaski County unincorporated, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Pine Bluff, Morrilton and Russellville have been impacted by the recent winter weather event.
Customers who were scheduled to receive residential solid waste services on Thursday and Friday of this week, will receive service the next Thursday and Friday. WM will recover extra trash that is in a tied bag placed next to cart.
Customers who were scheduled to receive residential, curbside recycling from WM on Thursday and Friday of this week will be recovered at their next, regularly scheduled recycling day. These customers may put additional recyclables in cardboard boxes placed next to recycling cart. These boxes must be able to fit in the cart. No bags may be used.
The Two Pine Landfill will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Ozark Ridge Landfill will be open Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Little Rock WM-Recycle America MRF and the Jefferson County Landfill will be closed Saturday. All facilities will resume normal operating hours Monday.

WM delays Friday pickups
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 3, 2022) – WM (Waste Management) is monitoring the pending winter weather event currently forecasted to affect central Arkansas. Icy weather creates an incredibly dangerous situation for motorists, especially solid waste and recycling trucks.
WM is the residential solid waste and recycling partner for the unincorporated areas of Pulaski County. Additionally, WM services the residential, curbside recycling programs for the cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood. WM also provides residential solid waste services to the residents of Pine Bluff, Morrilton and Russellville. If WM deems it unsafe to operate, routes will run with a one-day delay.
Services in Pulaski County unincorporated, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Pine Bluff, Morrilton and Russellville will be suspended for a second day on Friday. WM will notify all areas of the adjusted pickup schedule when conditions are clear.
This is subject to change as more becomes known about the effects of the wintry weather.
Additional WM facilities closed Friday include Little Rock WM-Recycle America MRF, Two Pine Landfill, Jefferson County Landfill and the Ozark Ridge Landfill.
